Meet ... Rosa

This lovely lady has been witness to the comings and goings of human-types for many years, we think. She lives in an area that plays host to a large group of dirt-bowl players who arrive every weekend to play a ball game (like bocce) on a dirt court they made themselves forty years ago. They have told us that she has been there for years, and likes to sit in the Blue Gum above their court. We have seen her there too, and in nearby trees, calmly sleeping while the players laugh and argue and enjoy themselves below. She has always looked rather surprised that we pay so much attention to her! But she accepts it with good humour, and soon goes back to sleep.

We think she is mature (maybe 6 to 8 years old in 2006). She has the most lovely ears! Luxuriant tufts of white fur, beautifully coiffed!
