Meet ... Mary

A guest on the Savannah Walkabout, Vibeke Nielsen from Denmark, made a special request to have a lovely female koala named after the Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, who is an Australian. This little girl has such class, that we knew she had to be the one!

She is a bit of a brunette, like the Princess, and has a quiet, calm elegance about her. She never seems to get upset by our appearance, but just looks at us a little, then snuggles back down to sleep. She lives in the You Yangs in an area of beautiful big Blue Gums and has Brava, Vegemite and Tim Tam for neighbours.
