Meet ... Ignatius

Bushfire update 6 February 2006: we haven't seen Ignatius since the fire. His area was quite badly burnt, though a cluster of living trees is not far away - we hope he has disappeared into there, and will continue checking for some time.

Our proud young male, Ignatius is every bit as good looking as his father, Russell Crowe (we don’t know this for sure, but they look so similar that its likely).  Nothing much bothers Ignatius - even on our first meeting he was relaxed and confident.  He has the classic male appearance - big, broad face, a large, jutting nose and short, thick fur over his big muscular body.  His most distinctive feature is his large size and complete self-confidence.

We first met Ignatius on 24/1/02, the very same day we found Russell’s dead body.  Interestingly, Ignatius was occupying his father’s territory at the time (almost like he came to say goodbye to his ailing Dad).  Since then he has been in and out of that area, hassling poor dear Blaze who lives next door!
