Our very competitive rates are listed on the website for your information and they offer a high quality tour at an affordable price for all, including families. You can email us at enquiries@echidnawalkabout.com.au if you wish to make a direct booking and you can safely pay online.
A 10% deposit is required upon booking with the balance due 45 days prior to departure. Bookings made less than 45 days before departure need to be paid in full when booking.
Payment can be made to Echidna Walkabout by Mastercard, Bankcard or Visa - please email us.
We rarely cancel a planned tour. Please note we run with a minimum of 2 people. In the interests of our customers safety and security, or if minimum numbers are not met, we reserve the right to modify our itineraries or cancel the tour.
If we must cancel a tour, alternative arrangements would be offered. If the alternative arrangement is not acceptable the cost of the cancelled component only will be refunded. The refund is limited to the cost of the cancelled component and will not be extended to cover any additonal costs, travel or accommodation expenses that may be incurred.

Day tours
- cancellations made 48 to 0 hours before tour - no refund.
Extended tours
- cancellations made over 45 days before tour start - loss of deposit.
- cancellations made 44 to 30 days before tour start - loss of 30% of total tour cost.
- cancellations made 29 to 10 days before tour start - loss of 50% of total tour cost.
- cancellations made 9 to 0 days before tour start - no refund.
Prices and accommodation are based on twin share. On extended tours an additional fee (single supplement) is charged for single rooming.
We recommend you obtain travel insurance which includes cancellation cover.
Please note we do NOT operate on Christmas Day
