In-depth experience of Aussie Wildlife

This Wildlife Journey was great from the moment Martin picked me up from my hotel to the moment he dropped me off 4 days later. We covered an amazing range of different areas in East Gippsland; from an island sanctuary where we saw at least 15 different wild koalas! (as well as 4 echidna) to the rugged mountain forests of Snowy River. Martin was the perfect guide; informative, knowledgeable and friendly! I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to have an in-depth experience of Aussie Wildlife.

A life-time memory

We were GIFTED with the experience of the Echidna Walkabout tour with guide, Scott. The experience was exhilarating, peaceful and educational. Scott’s passion and knowledge, for his country, nature, animals and conservation, was infectious. We spotted koalas, kangaroos and the world’s coolest wallaby. The day spent, in the wild, was a life-time memory. Back in Chicago, we can tap into the day we spent in the fantastic country of Australia, to bring about a feeling of solace that the globe houses such an enchanted wonderland, down under.

The organisation was flawless

4d Wildlife Journey tour – an amazing experience I can highly recommend. Our guide, Martin, was very knowledgable and an excellent host. He knew where to go and spotted a lot of wildlife: kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, a lot of different birds as well as echidnas (very close to us) and possums. Echidna Walkabout’s organisation was flawless.

3 day trip well beyond my expectations

One of the best eco trips I’ve done. Guide Brett drove, narrated, identified birds on wing, spotted koalas, wallabies & kangaroos. The scenery was awesome but the wildlife sightings were fantastic…one koala will stay with me forever. The 3 day trip was well beyond my expectations; I am so glad I did it.

This is the tour to take

If you are going to Australia to see kangaroos & koalas, this is the tour to take. Echidna Walkabout have a system that alerts the guides where the koalas might be. We saw 4 different koalas and one had a joey. I highly recommend this tour for getting the outback experience.

What an amazing day! Worth every penny

The tour is superb, relaxed, educational and worth every penny.  What I like about this tour is that you go into the animals natural environments and observe them without distressing them, and Echidna Walkabout as a company do a lot to help preserve the animals.
